This CD, recorded in 2007, features ten new, original songs plus Dan Fogelberg’s The Higher You Climb and Holy Now by Minnesota songwriter Peter Mayer. There is a great cast of supporting musicians that includes Jennifer Burnett on backing vocals, string wizard Ernie Martinez on pedal steel, dobro, acoustic and electric guitars, Darrin Johnson on drums and Susan Mikulich and Blake Eberhard on bass. Many other guests drop by to add their talents including a beautiful children’s chorus on Where We Live and Growing with Spirit. Gabriel Ebert throws in a duet vocal on God is in the World, which he co-wrote.
The project features a wide range of emotional expression from the all-out-rocker title cut to the introspective Stand in the Fire and All Inside. Turn Off Your Cell Phone has become a classic opening for many services and gatherings and it seemed only right to have it leading off the new CD. There is a hope alive that the song will be played before every movie shown worldwide, with subsequent royalties returning to the writer.
Park Peters from Audio Park again handles the bulk of the recording and engineering as well as several sneaky keyboard parts. What We’re Thinking About and We Hold These Truths were recorded at Mile Hi Music under the watchful ear of Nathan Marschall.
This CD will not cause drowsiness and is suitable for driving under all conditions or operating heavy machinery. Enjoy.

This CD features ten original songs by Barry and a cover of Pierce Pettis' God Believes in You. Driven by acoustic guitar, the project features many musical guests who lend their considerable talents to bring these songs to life.
Darrin Johnson and Dr. Susan Gibertson provide a rock solid rhythm section; Kent Rautenstraus offers his magical touches on piano and Hannah Alkire adds a haunting cello to Our Guardian Angel. Local bluegrass legend Ernie Martinez pitches in on dobro, high string and electric guitars and Gabe Ebert, Amanda Hawkins, Jennifer Burnett and Rev. Cynthia James are featured vocalists.
Park Peters again does a masterful job of producing; mixing, playing keyboards, and making it all look easy. Park is also featured on accordion for the first time in recorded history.
The songs are a collection of stories about life in general, nothing in particular and the things you think about while you're waiting for the light to turn green. The CD contains a booklet with all of the lyrics.

Recorded in 1996, Headed Home is Barry's first solo CD. It features eleven original songs and a version of the Mile Hi Church classic Surely The Presence with Anne Achenbach and Kent Rautenstraus.
From the steel drum opening of One Ocean to the soaring harmonies of Only the Lovin', this album celebrates the power of the human spirit. The song Harmony Line (sung as a duet with Anne Achenbach) has become a standard for Barry to play at weddings, and When Your Moment Comes is a joyful rocker that has stood the test of time.
The album was produced by Park Peters and features guest performances by Ernie Martinez, Freddy Rodriguez Jr., Susan Mikulich and all of the members of the Band Light Brigade (on The Tree in My Front Yard). At the heart of it all is acoustic guitar, harmonies and stories about kids, trees and what it feels like to be headed home.
